About DRDO

The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) is the premier agency under the Department of Defence Research and Development in the Ministry of Defence of the Government of India. OR Postgraduate (M.E./M. Tech.) degrees in professional electronics/electronics & communication courses in the first division, both at the graduate and post-graduate levels.
Junior Research Fellow (Chemistry/ Chemical/ Material Science)	Postgraduate degree (M.Sc. or equivalent) in Chemistry with first division and National Eligibility Test (NET) qualification conducted by CSIR-UGC (NET), MHRD (GATE), or JEST. OR Graduate degree In the professional course (B.E/B. DRDO Recruitment 2024 Age Limit

On the day of the interview, applicants for the Research Associate (RA) post cannot be older than 35. The maximum age limit for the Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) job is 28 years old as of the interview date.

Age relaxation of up to five years is available for applicants who fall under the SC, ST, or PH categories, and up to three years is available for candidates who are OBC.

Candidates who fall under the SC, ST, or OBC categories need to provide the genuine caste certificate that was issued by the relevant government. Candidates who identify as physically handicapped (PH) must substantiate their claim with a medical certificate from a government hospital or medical board.

DRDO Recruitment 2024 Selection Process

Walk-in interviews will be used to choose the candidates. During the interview, they will be required to present original certificates or testimonies of their age, education, and experience. They should also send a copy of the documents. During the interview, candidates are required to provide copies of their theses and published research articles, if applicable.

DRDO Recruitment 2024 Salary

The monthly pay for a Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) is Rs. 37,000. The fellowship lasts for two years, after which it may be raised to a Senior Research Fellowship (SRF) by regulations.
