DRDO RCI Jobs Notification 2024 for Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

The Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO), Research Centre Imarat (RCI), has released its DRDO Notification 2024 for 22 positions of Research Associate (RA) and Junior Research Fellow (JRF) across India. About DRDO RCI

Research Centre Imarat (RCI) is a Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO) laboratory located in Hyderabad, Telangana. It specializes in the research and development of missile systems, guided weapons, and advanced avionics for the Indian Armed Forces. Established in 1988 by Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, RCI has played a crucial role in India’s defense advancements. As of July 1, 2023, Anindya Biswas serves as the Director of RCI, Hyderabad.

DRDO RCI Recruitment 2024 has opened applications for 22 positions of Junior Research Fellows (JRF) and Research Associates (RA). The recruitment drive invites eligible candidates to apply offline by following the guidelines mentioned in the official notification. Qualifications for DRDO RCI Recruitment 2024:

1. Research Associate (RA-01):
   • Ph.D. in Physics/Photonics/Related fields, OR
   • First Class M.Sc. with 4 years research experience, 1 SCI paper, OR
   • First Class M.Tech with 3 years research experience, 1 SCI paper.
2. Research Associate (RA-02):
   • Ph.D. in Computer Science/AI/Machine Learning, OR
   • First Class M.Sc. with 4 years research experience, 1 SCI paper, OR
   • First Class M.Tech with 3 years research experience, 1 SCI paper.
3. Research Associate (RA-03):
   • Ph.D. in Mechanical/Structural/Aerospace Engineering, OR
   • First Class M.Sc. with 4 years research experience, 1 SCI paper, OR
   • First Class M.Tech with 3 years research experience, 1 SCI paper.

Junior Research Fellow (JRF):

• First Class B.E./B.Tech with GATE score, OR
• First Class B.E./B.Tech with M.E./M.Tech in a relevant field, OR
• First Class M.Sc. with valid NET/GATE/SLET.

DRDO RCI Recruitment 2024 Age Limit

Age Limit as of 15th Sep 2024:

• For Research Associate: 35 years for general candidates, relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC candidates as per Government of India norms.
• For Junior Research Fellow: 28 years for general candidates, relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC candidates as per Government of India norms.

DRDO RCI Recruitment 2024 Selection Process

After reviewing the application details and relevance of research work experience or PhD thesis, shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview.

DRDO RCI Recruitment 2024 Stipend

• For Research Associate: Candidates will receive a monthly stipend as per Government of India norms (Ministry of Defence, Finance/R&D, letter No. 01/RD/HRD/89-90/751/D(R&D) dated 8th Aug 2023).
• For Junior Research Fellow: Candidates will receive a monthly stipend as per Government of India norms (Ministry of Defence, Finance/R&D, letter No. 01/RD/HRD/89-90/751/D(R&D) dated 8th Aug 2023).
