The Defence Research and Development Establishment (DRDE), DRDO is conducting a walk-in interview for the posts of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) and Research Associate (RA). Junior Research Fellows (JRF):

1. Subject: Microbiology/Biotechnology/Life Sciences
   • No. of Positions: 1
   • Essential Qualification: M.Sc. in relevant fields with NET qualification.

Research Associates (RA):

1. Subject: Life Sciences/Biology/Zoology
   • No. of Positions: 1
   • Essential Qualification: Ph.D. in related fields (e.g., Molecular Biology, Pharmacology).
2. Subject: Chemistry (Inorganic/Organic/Physical)
   • No. of Positions: 1
   • Essential Qualification: Ph.D. in relevant fields.

DRDE DRDO Recruitment 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit:

• JRF: Maximum 28 years
• RA: Maximum 35 years
• Relaxations:
  • 5 years for SC/ST candidates.
  • 3 years for OBC candidates.

Qualifications:

• Candidates must possess the required degree as of the interview date.
• JRF: NET/GATE qualification is mandatory.
• RA: Relevant Ph.D. in specified disciplines.

3. Candidates may need to undergo a written test if the number of applicants is high.

Important Notes

• The tenure for JRF is initially 2 years, extendable to 3 years as SRF based on performance.
• Tenure for RA is up to 2 years.
