DLRL was established in 1961 under DRDO to address the Indian Armed Forces’ needs for electronic warfare systems, including communication and radar systems. These responsibilities were subsequently transferred to specialized laboratories. Notably, the communication cipher equipment developed by DLRL was successfully utilized in the 1965 war with Pakistan. Today, DLRL continues to focus on designing and developing integrated Electronic Warfare systems for the Indian Armed Forces.
The Defence Research & Development Organisation (DRDO) – Defence Electronics Research Laboratory (DLRL) has issued a notification for Graduate/Technician Apprentices across various DRDO departments. Candidates holding qualifications such as B.E/B.Tech, Diploma, B.Com, or B.Sc are eligible to apply. There are a total of 48 openings available for these positions.
