Candidates applying for the position of Clerk must possess a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree, or its equivalent, from a recognized university. Additionally, they must have passed the matriculation examination with Hindi as one of the subjects.
No individual shall be eligible for recruitment to the service if they are under 18 years or over 42 years of age as of January 1, 2024. The upper age limit may be relaxed as per the instructions of the Honorable High Court and as prescribed by the Haryana Government from time to time.
The selection process will consist of a written examination followed by a computer proficiency test.
Candidates will be required to take a written examination covering the following subjects:

To be considered for appointment, a candidate must achieve a minimum of 40% marks in aggregate in the written examination. Additionally, they must qualify for the proficiency test in computer operation, which includes Word Processing and Spreadsheet tasks.
Applicants who meet the aforementioned qualifications for the position of Clerks on an ad-hoc basis will participate in the written examination/computer proficiency test. The date and venue for these tests will be communicated later through the official website of this office: https://narnaul.dcourts.gov.in/recruit. Applicants must bring their original testimonials to the written examination. No separate call letters for the written examination/computer proficiency test will be sent to the applicants.
Clerks in this Sessions Division will be appointed purely on an ad-hoc basis for six months or until regular appointments are made by the Honorable High Court of Punjab and Haryana, Chandigarh, whichever occurs earlier. They will receive a consolidated pay of ₹25,500/-, the minimum of the pay scale for Clerks.
Interested and eligible candidates are required to submit their applications on plain paper, with a recent passport-size photograph of the candidate affixed thereon. The application should contain full particulars including the candidate’s name, father’s/husband’s name, date of birth, gender, educational qualification, category, permanent address, correspondence address, contact/mobile number(s), email ID, and relevant experience. Along with the application, attested copies of the relevant certificates should be enclosed, and one self-addressed envelope with postal stamps duly affixed should also be included.
Applications should be sent to the office of the District and Sessions Judge, Narnaul, either by registered post/speed post or by hand delivery, well before the closing date, May 31, 2024.
