About CSIR-National Aerospace Laboratories (NAL)

CSIR – NAL Recruitment 2024 Selection Process

• Selection is based on interview performance or criteria established by selection committees.
• The panel of qualified individuals is valid for one year; however, the appointment does not guarantee immediate engagement.
• The selection/screening committee may shortlist candidates based on a written exam or other criteria.
• Candidates claiming equal qualifications must submit applicable orders or letters.
• Candidates should explicitly state their category (SC/ST/OBC/PH/EWS) and provide documentation verification.
• Attendance is limited to candidates with finished degrees; those awaiting results are disqualified.
• There is no TA/DA for attending the walk-in interview.
• The list of selected candidates and the waiting list panel are available on the CSIR-NAL website.
• Selected candidates must accept the offer letter within 15 days after receiving it; no extensions are generally permitted.

CSIR – NAL Recruitment 2024 Stipend

• Project Assistant: ₹20,000/- + HRA
• Project Associate-I (a) ₹25,000/- + HRA (b) * ₹31,000/- + HRA for candidates selected through: (i) CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE, (ii) National level examinations by Central Government Departments and their Agencies.
• Project Associate-II (a) ₹28,000/- + HRA (b) * ₹35,000/- + HRA for candidates selected through: (i) CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE, (ii) National level examinations by Central Government Departments and their Agencies.
• Senior Project Associate: ₹42,000/- + HRA

Note: Candidates with a valid GATE scorecard for PA-I and PA-II will receive ₹25,000/- and ₹28,000/- + HRA respectively. Higher stipends of ₹31,000/- and ₹35,000/- + HRA are applicable only if the project specifically requires GATE qualification.

CSIR – NAL Recruitment 2024 Application process

Candidates willing to attend the Interview must report at CSIR-NAL, RAB Meeting Complex, National Aerospace Laboratories (NAL), Adjacent to SBI, NAL Branch, Kodihalli, Bengaluru – 560017, on specified dates between 8.30 AM to 9.30 AM for registration and document verification. It’s crucial to note:

• Registration deadline: No candidates will be registered after 9.30 AM.
• Multiple applications: Apply separately for each position of interest.
• Essential documents: Bring a copy of Aadhar Card or any Government ID with a photograph, a duly filled application form (available on the website), the latest passport-size photograph, and original certificates with one set of Xerox copies (including a Caste Certificate if applicable).
• Preference for experience: Candidates with relevant experience and team collaboration skills are preferred.
• Preparedness: Be ready to potentially attend an interview the next day if necessary, in case the initial interview cannot be completed on the scheduled day.
