Technician (1) (Electrician)	SSC/10th Standard or equivalent with Science subjects, with minimum 55% marks. ITI certificate or National/State trade certificate in Electrician, OR 2 years full-time experience as an apprentice trainee in the Electrician trade from a recognized Institution, or 3 years of work experience in Electrician trade in a Government organization.
Technician (1) (Electronics Mechanic)	SSC/10th Standard or equivalent with Science subjects, with minimum 55% marks. ITI certificate National/State trade certificate in Electronics Mechanic, OR 2 years full-time experience as an apprentice trainee in Electronics Mechanic trade from a recognized Institution, or 3 years of work experience in Electronics Mechanic trade in a Government organization.
Technician (1) (COPA)	SSC/10th with Science, min. 55% marks. ITI/National trade certificate in COPA OR 2 years apprentice experience or 3 years work exp. in COPA. Experience in inventory management, data entry, software, networking, lab demos, and tech support. PwBD candidates are eligible.

CSIR-CEERI Recruitment 2024 Age Limit

According to the CSIR-CEERI recruitment notification, candidates must be a maximum of 28 years old as of March 1, 2024.

1. Screening: Candidates recommended by the Screening Committee will undergo a Trade Test.
2. Trade Test: Qualified candidates from the Screening stage will proceed to a competitive written examination.
3. Written Examination: The written exam consists of three papers (Paper I, Paper II & Paper III). Paper-II & Paper-III are evaluated only for candidates who meet the minimum threshold marks in Paper-I.
4. Merit List: The final merit list is based on the marks obtained in Paper II & Paper III.

Examination Format:

• Type: OMR Based or Computer Based Objective Type Multiple Choice Examination
• Medium: Questions available in both English and Hindi, except for English Language questions.
• Standard: Equivalent to SSC + ITI / XIIth Standard
• Total Questions: 150
• Total Time: 2 hours 30 minutes

CSIR-CEERI Recruitment 2024 Salary

The pay level for the position is Level 2, with a salary range of ₹19,900 to ₹63,200. The approximate total emoluments, including House Rent Allowance (HRA), amount to around ₹27,248. This figure is based on the minimum of the scale and is effective as of 01.01.2024. If residential accommodation is provided by CSIR-CEERI, HRA will not be payable.
