1. Screening Committee recommendation.
2. Trade Test invitation for qualified candidates.
3. Competitive written examination for Trade Test qualifiers.
4. Final merit list based on the candidate’s performance in the written examination.

CSIR CBRI Technical Assistant Examination Mode

1. Three papers – Paper-I, Paper-II, & Paper-III.
2. Evaluation of papers II & III for candidates meeting the minimum threshold marks in Paper I.
3. The Final merit list based on marks in Paper-II & Paper-III.

• Mode: OMR Based on Objective Type Multiple Choice Examination.
• Language: Questions in English and Hindi (except for English Language questions).
• Standard: Diploma/Graduation Level (aligned with the advertised qualification).
• Total Questions: 200.
• Time Allotted: 3 hours.
Paper – I Details:
• Time Allotted: 1 hour.
• Subject: Mental Ability Test.
• No. of Questions: 50.
• Maximum Marks: 100.
• Scoring: Two marks for every correct answer.
• Negative Marks: No negative marking in this paper.
• Content: Mental Ability Test will cover General Intelligence, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning, Problem Solving, Situational Judgement, etc.

• Maximum Marks: 75.
• Scoring: 3 marks per correct answer.
