Cordite Factory Recruitment 2025

Cordite Factory is recruiting for the position of Tenure-based Machinist (Contract). The required educational qualification is NAC/NTC in the Machinist Trade from NCTVT (NCVT). The age limit for applicants is between 18 to 35 years, with relaxation applicable as per the rules. A total of 40 vacancies are available. The application process will start on 31st January 2025 and end on 28th February 2025. There is no application fee. The selected candidates will receive a salary of Rs. 19,900 plus DA. Applications must be submitted offline through postal submission.

• Educational Qualification:
  • Matriculation with NAC/NTC in Machinist Trade from NCTVT (now NCVT).
  • Ordnance Factory training or experience in machining ammunition/armament components is preferred.
• Age Limit:
  • General candidates: 18 to 35 years (as of the last date of application).
  • Relaxation in age is available for SC/ST, OBC-NCL, and Ex-SM candidates.
• Other Requirements:
  • Only candidates with a valid NAC/NTC certificate in Machinist Trade will be considered.

Cordite Factory Recruitment 2025 Selection Process

• Selection Method:
  1. NCTVT Exam Marks: 80% weightage
  2. Trade Test/Practical Test: 20% weightage
  3. Merit List: Based on the combined marks from NCTVT Exam and Trade Test/Practical Test.
  4. Document Verification: Candidates will be called based on merit, and documents will be verified.
• Cut-off: The factory will decide the cut-off for calling candidates for the Trade Test based on NCTVT marks.

• Basic Pay: Rs. 19,900
• Allowances: Dearness Allowance (DA) as per government norms.
• Additional Benefits:
