The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) is a Central Armed Police Force in India under the Ministry of Home Affairs. CISF’s primary mission is to provide security to large institutions, be it Governmental or private.
It was set up under an Act of the Parliament of India on 15 March 1969 with a strength of 2,800. CISF was subsequently made an armed force of India by another Act of Parliament passed on 15 June 1983. Its current active strength is 148,371 personnel.[4] In April 2017, the government raised the sanctioned strength from 145,000 to 180,000 personnel. Recently the strength has been increased to 200,000.[5] Among its duties are guarding sensitive governmental buildings, Parliament complex, the Delhi Metro, and providing airport security.[6] The CISF is governed by the Union Ministry of Home Affairs, and its headquarters are at New Delhi.

Criteria | Details |
Educational Qualification | Candidates must have passed 12th Class or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board/University with science subject on or before the closing date of receipt of the online Application Form. |
Age Limit | 18-23 years as on the closing date for receipt of the online Applications Form (i.e., 30/09/2024). Candidates should have been born between 01/10/2001 and 30/09/2006 (both dates inclusive). |
After successfully completing all stages of the CISF Fireman Recruitment 2024 selection process, candidates are appointed to the position of Constable/Fireman. As employees of the Central Industrial Security Force, Constables receive a monthly salary ranging from ₹21,700 to ₹69,100, according to pay level 3 of the pay matrix. This competitive salary is a key factor in attracting and motivating individuals toward a career in CISF.

The CISF Fireman Recruitment 2024 process consists of five stages: Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standard Test (PST), Document Verification (DV), Written Examination, and Medical Examination. Candidates must successfully pass each stage to be selected for the available Constable/Fireman vacancies.
Online Submission: Applications must be submitted online via the official CISF website at cisfrectt.cisf.gov.in. Detailed instructions can be found in Annexure-I and Annexure-II of the official notice. No other submission methods are accepted.
Photograph: Upload a recent (within the last three months) color passport-size photograph in JPEG format (20-50 KB). The image should measure 3.5 cm x 4.5 cm, with no cap or spectacles, and both ears visible. The date of the photograph must be printed clearly; otherwise, the application will be rejected.
Signature: Upload a scanned signature in JPEG format (10-20 KB), with dimensions of 4.0 cm x 2.0 cm. Illegible signatures will lead to rejection.
Documents: Upload scanned copies of your Matriculation and Senior Secondary Examination Certificates in PDF format. Uploading incorrect or additional documents will result in rejection.
Deadline: Submit the application before the deadline of 30/09/2024 (23:00 PM). Early submission is recommended to avoid website issues due to high traffic.
