About CFMTTI

The Government of India recognized the importance of farm machinery in crop production and established the Agricultural Machinery Utilization Training Centre in 1955 at Budni, Madhya Pradesh, to train farmers. In 1959, a testing wing was added, and the Centre was renamed. In 1983, it became the Central Farm Machinery Training and Testing Institute.
