C-DAC Recruitment 2024 Vacancies
A total of 22 Scientist B vacancies are available in CDAC Recruitment 2024. C-DAC Recruitment 2024 Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualifications:
- Candidates must possess qualifications from a UGC-recognized Indian University/Deemed University or AICTE-approved course from an autonomous Indian institution. The degree should be a regular course.
- If the qualifying degree uses CGPA/OGPA or letter grades, the equivalent percentage must be provided in the application, along with certification from the university for verification during the interview.
- Experience Requirements:
- Only relevant experience acquired after earning the qualifying degree will be counted. C-DAC’s decision on the relevance of expertise will be final.
- Required experience must be from roles in State/Central Government, Public Sector Enterprises, reputable private sector companies, or institutions, excluding Industrial/Vocational/Apprentice Training.
- Reservation Policies:
- Reservations follow the category distribution outlined in the vacancy details. Reserved category candidates must present the appropriate category certificate at the time of the interview.
- OBC candidates need a certificate confirming they do not belong to the creamy layer. PwD candidates must have a disability of at least 40% to qualify for reservations.
- Persons with Disabilities (PwD) are encouraged to apply even if no specific vacancies are reserved for them.
- Age Limit and Relaxation:
- The upper age limit for UR/EWS candidates is 30 years, for ST is 35 years, and for OBC-NCL is 33 years. Age limits vary for PwD candidates depending on the category, ranging from 40 to 45 years.
- Government employees with three years of continuous service in the Central Government may receive a 5-year age relaxation.
- Ex-servicemen are allowed to deduct their service period from their age, with an additional relaxation of up to 3 years, provided it does not exceed the maximum age limit for the post.
