About Central Council for Research in Siddha (CCRS)

The Central Council for Research in Siddha (CCRS) is an autonomous body established under the Societies Act in July 2010, operating under the Department of AYUSH, currently under the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India, New Delhi. It serves as the apex body in India responsible for initiating, undertaking, formulating, developing, coordinating, and promoting research in Siddha medicine on scientific principles. CCRS holds recognition as a Scientific and Industrial Research Organization (SIRO) by the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research, Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India, since 21st August 2014.
In September 2010, CCRS was established following the bifurcation of the erstwhile Central Council for Research in Ayurveda and Siddha (CCRAS).

CCRS Recruitment 2024 Application Process

1. Interested candidates who meet the requirements must submit their applications in the prescribed format provided in the Annexure, along with self-attested copies of supporting documents. The deadline for submission is 22.07.2024.
   • Annexure-I is for Research Associate (Siddha) – I.
   • Annexure-II is for SRF (Tamil/English and Hindi) & JRF (Microbiology).
   • Annexure-III is for Office Assistant.
2. Incomplete applications, not submitted in the prescribed format, or lacking the requested supporting documents will be rejected without consideration.
3. Candidates are invited to apply for various projects under Intra Mural Research & Siddha Pharmacopeia works. They do not need to submit separate applications for each project. However, they must ensure to complete the column @ Sl. No.12 of the application format (Annexure – I) as required.
