About BEL

Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) is an Indian Government-owned aerospace and defense electronics company. It primarily manufactures advanced electronic products for ground and aerospace applications. BEL is one of nine PSUs under the Ministry of Defence of India. It has been granted Navratna status by the Government of India.

Bharat Electronics Limited was founded in Bangalore, Karnataka, India in 1954. Starting with the manufacture of a few pieces of communication equipment in 1956, BEL started manufacturing receiving valves in 1961, germanium semiconductors in 1962, and radio transmitters for AIR in 1964 with help from the Soviet Union.

BEL Recruitment Education Qualification

• B.E/ B.Tech (Mechatronics) with First Class from an AICTE approved College/ Institute or a recognized
  University

Note:

• Candidates with B.E/ B.Tech (Mechatronics) only need to apply.
• Candidates whose discipline/specialization mentioned in their relevant Degree Certificates do not tally with the discipline/specialization prescribed in the advertisement will not be considered for selection.
• In the case of CGPA or credits system of assessments, the candidates are required to attach the formula for conversion of CGPA/ Credits to percentage in accordance with the respective University norms

Post-Qualification Industrial Experience:

• Experience with unmanned platforms & automation systems.
• Hands-on experience in Part and assembly modeling using 3D modeling software, generating 2D drawings, thermal and structural analysis, Reliability Engineering, knowledge of manufacturing processes,
• Hand-on experience in Industrial Automation PLC, MATLAB, Simulink, and integration of electronics components/modules with mechanical systems
• Hands-on experience in the selection of electronics components/modules (sensors like LIDAR, GYRO, Ultrasound, Cameras, etc., motors, controllers, MEMS, Computers, embedded hardware, etc.) for the realization of platforms, controllers, On-board Computing platforms, and tuning of systems to meet operational specifications.
• Exposure to Military Standards for electronic equipment. Experience in product design to comply with Mil Standards related to environment and EMI, Reliability engineering, and Design for Six Sigma would be an added advantage.

• Academy/ Teaching/ Apprenticeship Training/ Research work experience will not be considered
  as relevant post qualification/ industrial experience.

Age Relaxation For BEL Recruitment

• In the case of a Person with a Benchmark Disability (PwBD) category having a minimum 40% disability will get an age relaxation of 10 years in addition to a respective category. Relaxation will be extended as per Govt guidelines in respect of Ex-Serviceman.

Selection Process For BEL Recruitment

• Selection will be through a Written Test for shortlisted candidates, followed by an Interview, only for those candidates who qualify in the Written Test. The venue for the Written Test / Interview will be Bengaluru.
• Candidates have to carefully enter the details in the application and attach the documents as prescribed. In case, the details mentioned do not tally with supporting documents, the candidate’s application will be rejected without any prior intimation.
• Candidates meeting the eligibility criteria as stipulated in the advertisement will be called for Written Test (85 marks) for shortlisted
• Candidates are based on screening of the application and the documents submitted by the applicant.
• Based on the Written Test score, candidates will be shortlisted for interview in the order of merit in the
  ratio of 1:5.
• The list of candidates shortlisted for the Written Test / Interview will be posted on the BEL Website Candidates are required to comply with the instructions indicated in the Admit Card.

Application Fee For BEL Recruitment

• Candidates are required to remit an amount of Rs. 600/- plus 18% GST towards the application fee through SBI Collect (through online mode or through the SBI Branch). Ex-Servicemen candidates are exempted from payment of the application fee.
• Candidates are requested to read the details and screenshots for making the payment.
• Candidates can also make the payment by approaching the SBI branch. Candidates are required to select the SBI branch in the payment option and download & print the challan generated through SBI Collect and deposit the application fee of Rs. 600/- plus 18% GST applicable bank charges in any SBI Branch. The candidate should ensure to obtain the seal and signature of the bank official.
• Candidates have to enter the “SBI Collect Reference No.” generated after payment, in the Application Form. PwBD candidates are exempted from payment of the application fee.
•  Candidates may go through all instructions and eligibility criteria carefully before remitting application fees and sending the application. Fees once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances. Candidates may take note that no cheque, DD, or cash will be accepted for payment of the application fee.
