About Assam Rifles

The Assam Rifles (AR) is a central paramilitary force responsible for border security, counter-insurgency, and maintaining law and order in Northeast India. Its primary duty involves guarding the Indo-Myanmar border. The AR is one of the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) administered by the Ministry of Home Affairs. Lineman Field	10th class pass with ITI certificate in Electrician Trade
Recovery Vehicle Mechanic	10th class pass with ITI certificate in Recovery Vehicle Mechanic
Bridge & Road (Male & Female)	Matric or equivalent from a recognized Board or University.· Diploma in civil engineering from a recognized institution for Bridge and Road.
Electrical & Mechanical	Graduate in Electrical & Mechanical or Civil Engineering
Draughtsman	10+2 or equivalent from a recognized board and a year’s diploma in Architectural Assistantship from any recognized Polytechnic College or Institution.
Plumber	10th class pass with ITI certificate in Plumber Trade
Surveyor ITI	10th class pass with ITI certificate in Surveyor Trade
X-Ray Assistant	10+2 pass with Diploma in Radiology
