Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission has announced the APPSC Recruitment 2024: Group I Exam notification on 08/12/2023. Notification is out for 81 Vacancies. Eligible candidates can apply online from 01/01/2024 to 21/01/2024. About APPSC

Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) was formed when the state of Andhra Pradesh was formed on 1 November 1956. Earlier, the commission was known as the Andhra Service Commission (formed in 1953) which is based on the regulations of the Madras Public Service Commission. Later in 1956, APPSC was formed by merging the Andhra Public Service Commission and Hyderabad Public Service Commissions.

APPSC Recruitment 2024 Selection Process

The provincial civil services officers are recruited through the APPSC Group 1 exam, which the APPSC conducts. The APPSC Group 1 exam consists of three stages in total.

  • Prelims Exam: This stage is used to weed out non-serious candidates.
  • Mains Exam: It is the merit-deciding round.
  • Interview: It checks the thorough knowledge of the candidates of their expertise subject.

APPSC Application Fee

  • Applicant must pay Rs. 250/- towards the application processing fee and Rs 120/- towards the examination fee.
  • However, SC, ST, BC, PH, and ex-service Men categories of candidates are exempted from payment of the examination fee of Rs.120/- only.

How To Apply For APPSC Recruitment

  • The online applications will be available on the APPSC website www.appsc.gov.in
  • Register using a valid email and mobile number.
  • The applicant has to log in to the Commission’s website with the user name and the Password set by the candidate.
  • After login, the applicant has to click on the “Online Application Submission” present in the bottom right corner of the Commission’s website.
  • Fill in the online form with all the relevant correct details.
  • Upload the required documents.
  • Take a printout of the finally submitted Online Application.
