Educational Qualifications and Age Limit

Stenographer Grade-III (Category ‘C’) – Graduation with a Diploma/Certificate in Stenography.
Hindi: 80 w.p.m. in shorthand, 30 w.p.m. in typing, CCC certificate from NIELIT, 25/30 w.p.m. for Hindi/English typewriting on a computer.
English: 100 w.p.m. in shorthand, 40 w.p.m. in typing, CCC certificate from NIELIT, 25/30 w.p.m. for Hindi/English typewriting on a computer.
Min: 18 years, Max: 40 years (born between 2nd July 1984 and 1st July 2006)
Junior Assistant (Category ‘C’) – Intermediate with knowledge of Urdu and Hindi.
– CCC certificate from NIELIT.
– 25 w.p.m. for Hindi and 30 w.p.m. for English typewriting on a computer.
– Knowledge in arithmetic, mensuration, land surveying, and mapping.
Min: 18 years, Max: 40 years (born between 2nd July 1984 and 1st July 2006)
Driver (Grade-IV) (Category ‘C’) – High School pass from a recognized institution.
– Valid driving license for 4-wheeler for at least 3 years.
– Knowledge of traffic regulations, ability to read/write Hindi and English, strong physique.
Min: 18 years, Max: 40 years (born between 2nd July 1984 and 1st July 2006)
Various Category ‘D’ Posts Tube Well Operator: Class VIII + 1-year ITI certificate.
Process Server: High School pass.
Orderly/Peon/Farrash: Class VIII.
Chowkidar, Sweeper, etc.: Class VIII.
Sweeper-cum-Farrash: Class VI.
Min: 18 years, Max: 40 years (born between 2nd July 1984 and 1st July 2006)

Other Eligibility Criteria

  1. Nationality:
    • Must be a citizen of India.
  2. Character:
    • Candidates must be of good character and suitable for appointment.
    • Must provide character certificates from two respectable individuals (unconnected to the candidate’s education) within six months of selection.
    • Individuals dismissed from government positions are ineligible.
  3. Marital Status:
    • Men with more than one wife and women married to men with another wife are ineligible.
  4. Physical Fitness:
    • Candidates must satisfy the appointing authority of their physical fitness for the duties required.
    • The medical authority’s opinion on physical fitness is final.

Selection Procedure

  1. Stenographer Grade-III (Category ‘C’)
  • Stage-I: Offline Written Exam (100 questions). Five candidates are shortlisted per vacancy.
  • Stage-II:
    • Part ‘A’: Type Test (Hindi: 250 words; English: 300 words, 10 minutes each).
    • Part ‘B’: Stenography Test (Hindi: 400 words at 80 w.p.m.; English: 500 words at 100 w.p.m., 30 minutes each).
  • Final Merit List: Based on written and type tests. No interview.
  1. Junior Assistant (Category ‘C’)
  • Stage-I: Offline Written Exam (100 questions). Five candidates are shortlisted per vacancy.
  • Stage II: Type Test (Hindi: 250 words; English: 300 words, 10 minutes each).
  • Final Merit List: Based on written and type tests. No interview. Higher scorers get Junior Assistant posts; others may be offered Paid Apprenticeships.
  1. Driver (Grade-IV, Category ‘C’)
  • Stage-I: Offline Written Exam (100 questions).
  • Stage II: Technical Driving Test (Signage and Driving Tests).
  • Final Merit List: Based on written exam scores. No interview.

  • Stage II: Second Written Exam (100 questions).
