AFCAT Notification 2024 Released For 317 Vacancies for Freshers

Indian Air Force (IAF) has released the AFCAT 1 2024 Notification, announcing a total of 317 vacancies across various posts, including Flying, Ground Duty (Technical), and Ground Duty (Non-Technical). Aspiring candidates can start applying online from 1st December 2023, and the application window will remain open until 30th December 2023.

AFCAT Recruitment

AFCAT Notification 2024 for AFCAT 1/2024 Exam has been released for 317 vacancies on 18th November 2023. The candidates selected from the AFCAT 1 Exam 2024 will be shortlisted for the courses that will commence in January 2025 for the grant of Short Service Commission (SSC) in Flying Branch and Ground Duty (Non-Technical and Technical) branches. The online registration process for AFCAT 1/2024 will conducted from 01st to 30th December 2023.

About AFCAT

The Air Force Common Admission Test is conducted by the Air Force Selection Board to recruit ground and flying staff of the Indian Air Force (IAF). The Air Force Selection Board is the recruitment wing of the Indian Air Force.

AFCAT Age Limit

• Flying Branch- 20 to 24 years (Candidate must have been born between 02/01/2001 to 01/01/2005)
• Ground Duty (Technical & Non-Technical)- 20 to 26 years (Candidate must have been born between 02/01/1999 and 01/01/2005).

AFCAT 1 2024 Notification Selection Process

Indian Air Force (IAF) will conduct the following three stages (Written Test- AFSB Interview- Medical Examination) to shortlist eligible candidates through the AFCAT 1 2024 Exam.

AFCAT Application Fee

• Candidates registering for AFCAT entry will have to pay an amount of Rs. 550/- (non-refundable) as an examination fee. However, candidates registering for NCC Special Entry are not required to pay.
