About AAI
Airports Authority of India (AAI) is a statutory body under the ownership of the Ministry of Civil Aviation, Government of India. It is responsible for creating, upgrading, maintaining, and managing civil aviation infrastructure in India. It provides Communication Navigation Surveillance/Air Traffic Management (CNS/ATM) services over the Indian airspace and adjoining oceanic areas. AAI currently manages a total of 137 airports, including 34 international airports, 10 Customs Airports, 81 domestic airports, and 23 Civil enclaves at Defence airfields. AAI also has ground installations at all airports and 25 other locations to ensure the safety of aircraft operations.

AAI Jr. Executive Recruitment 2024 Age Limit
Applicants for AAI recruitment through GATE must be under 27 years old as of 01.05.2024. Age relaxation will be provided according to government norms.
- General: 27 years
- OBC (Non-creamy Layer): 30 years
- SC and ST Applicants: 32 years
- PwD Applicants: 37 years
Age Relaxation
- OBC (NCL) applicants can extend their maximum age limit by 3 years.
- SC and ST category applicants receive a 5-year age relaxation.
- PwD applicants are eligible for a maximum age relaxation of 10 years.
- Ex-servicemen’s age relaxation follows the Government of India’s orders.
- AAI employees in regular service are eligible for a maximum age relaxation of 10 years.
- The date of birth as stated in the matriculation or secondary examination certificate will be considered valid, and requests to change it later will not be entertained.

The Selection Process for AAI Junior Executive Vacancy 2024 includes the following Stages:

AAI Jr. Executive Recruitment 2024 Salary
1) Salary scale: Rs. 40,000 to Rs. 1,40,000 with a 3% annual increment; appointed at the E-1 grade level.
2) Emoluments include:
• Basic Pay
• Annual increment of 3% of Basic Pay
• Dearness Allowance (DA)
• Perks (35% of Basic Pay)
• House Rent Allowance (HRA)
• Various other benefits like CPF, Gratuity, Social Security Schemes, Medical Benefits, uniform allowance, etc.
3) Junior Executive applicants are required to sign a surety bond worth Rs. 7 lakhs, committing to serve AAI for three years post-training.
AAI Jr. Executive Recruitment 2024 Application fee
- Application Fee: Rs.300/‐ (Rs. Three Hundred only) to be paid through ONLINE MODE ONLY.
- Fees submitted by any other mode will not be accepted.
- SC/ST/PwBD candidates/Apprentices who have completed one year of Apprenticeship training in AAI/Female candidates are exempted from payment of the fee.
