This operation involved searches at 76 locations across the country and was prompted by the registration of five separate cases of cyber-enabled financial fraud, including a Rs 100-crore cryptocurrency scam.
As an effort to track down cyber criminals who indulge in financial crimes and fraud, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) launched Operation Chakra in 2022.
This new mission was launched against cyber-enabled crime networks on the basis of international inputs.
Operation Chakra was launched in coordination with Interpol, FBI, and police forces of multiple countries.

In the meeting, a total of eight projects were reviewed.
PRAGATI, which stands for “Pro-Active Governance and Timely Implementation,” is an ICT-based platform that serves as a tool for intergovernmental coordination and project monitoring.
The platform was launched by the Government of India in 2015, and its primary purpose is to streamline governance and expedite the implementation of critical projects.

The idea of Nilwande Dam was first conceived in 1970.
It is being developed at a cost of about Rs 5177 crores.
The Prime Minister also launched the ‘Namo Shetkari Mahasanman Nidhi Yojana’.
The Yojna will benefit more than 86 lakh beneficiaries of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana in Maharashtra by providing an additional amount of Rs 6000 per year to them.
