Union Minister for Home and Cooperation Amit Shah inaugurated IFFCO’s nano DAP (liquid) plant at Kalol in Gandhinagar, Gujarat.
Nano urea is sprayed not on the ground but on the plants and due to this, there is zero possibility of destruction of natural elements or the earthworms present in the soil.
It may also help in natural farming.
Nano-DAP (Di-ammonium Phosphate) is a nanotechnology-based agri-input developed by the Indian Farmers Fertilizer Cooperative Limited (IFFCO).
Contents: It will have 8% nitrogen and 16% phosphorus compared to 18% nitrogen and 46% phosphorus contained in the conventional granular bag.

Air Marshal Sadhna Saxena Nair took over as the Director General Hospital Services (Armed Forces) on promotion to the rank of Air Marshal.
She becomes first lady officer to hold the position.
She is effectively only the second woman officer who has served throughout in the IAF to be promoted to the rank of Air Marshal.
The first woman officer to achieve this was Air Marshal Padma Bandopadhyay.

Space start-up Skyroot Aerospace unveiled its indigenously built Vikram-1 rocket.
Planned to be launched in early 2024, Vikram-I will be Skyroot’s second rocket, after the successful launch of the Vikram-S rocket.
Vikram-1 is a multi-stage launch vehicle with a capacity to place around 300 kg payloads in Low Earth Orbit.
