State Bank of India’s economic research department has upgraded its baseline forecast for FY24 GDP growth to 6.7 per cent from an earlier forecast of 6.2 per cent, continuing on the path of strong activity in FY23.
The ERD said demand rebalancing from private consumption to investment in FY23 will spur growth in FY24. It projected Q1 GDP growth at 7.8 per cent, Q2 at 6.5 per cent, and Q3 at 6.3%.
