Government e-Marketplace (GeM) will organize Buyer-Seller Workshops in all 75 districts of Uttar Pradesh from today, June 12.

The 12th edition of a joint military exercise between the Indian Army & the Maldives National Defence Force, ‘Ex Ekuverin’ is being commenced at Chaubatia, Uttarakhand from 11 to 24 June 2023.
Ekuverin meaning ‘Friends’, is a bilateral annual exercise conducted alternatively in India and Maldives.
Aim: To enhance the interoperability in Counter Insurgency/ Counter Terrorism Operations under the UN mandate.

A celt, belonging to the Neolithic period, was recently discovered in Poothinatham village in Tamil Nadu.
The Neolithic, also called New Stone Age, is the final stage of cultural evolution or technological development among prehistoric humans.
It was characterized by stone tools shaped by polishing or grinding, dependence on domesticated plants or animals, settlement in permanent villages, and the appearance of such crafts as pottery and weaving.
The houses were built of mud and reed and rectangular or circular shapes.
Some of the important Neolithic sites in India include Mehrgarh, the oldest Neolithic site in the province of Pakistan called Baluchistan, Burzahom in Kashmir, Chiron in Bihar, etc.

MRF became the first Indian stock to touch the rupee one lakh per share mark on Tuesday (June 13).
The stock opened at ₹99,500 on BSE against the previous close of ₹98,939.70 and touched an all-time high of ₹1,00,300 in morning trade.
