India’s first private hill station Lavasa was sold to Darwin Platform Infrastructure for Rs 1.8 thousand crores after the approval of the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT).
The resolution plan of Darwin Platform Infrastructure has been accepted by the NCLT and includes payment of Rs 1,814 crore.
The resolution plan for Lavasa aims to reduce the concerns and uncertainties that have arisen among various stakeholders associated with the Lavasa project.
It is situated in the Mulshi Valley within the Western Ghats near Pune(Maharashtra). It was established in 2000 by the Hindustan Construction Company, becoming India’s first private hill town.

NADA has launched an Anti-Doping helpline number (1800-119-919) for athletes and athlete support personnel to provide information about Anti-Doping rules and guidelines.

To report any drug abuse or Doping activities in sports, NADA also provides the “Speak Up!” portal, which is intended for athletes and others to report any alleged Anti-Doping Rule Violations (ADRVs); non-compliance under the NADA Anti-Doping Rules; or, any act or omission that could undermine the Fight Against Doping in Sport. NADA also ensures the maintenance of strict confidentiality of the informer and the information shared.
To help the competing athletes, need-based awareness-cum-education material has been prepared by NADA in association with the NSFs. Billionaire Elon Musk’s SpaceX is poised to launch the world’s largest commercial communications satellite.
A Falcon Heavy rocket will launch Maxar Technologies’ largest ever satellite called Jupiter 3.
Approximately eight minutes after launch, Falcon Heavy’s side boosters will return to Earth and land on Landing Zones 1 and 2.
The Falcon Heavy slated to carry JUPITER 3 to orbit will liftoff from Launch Complex-39A, at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center, in Florida.
It is SpaceX’s seventh launch for the triple-booster rocket.
The Jupiter 3 will join others in the Hughes Jupiter satellite fleet already in orbit, Space.com reported.
Jupiter 3’s size will rival the wingspan of a commercial airliner, which can range from 130-160 feet.
The satellite will support services such as in-flight Wi-Fi and augment private Wi-Fi usage with other wireless technologies.

The three-day International Temples Convention and Expo 2023 (ITCX) rounded up on Tuesday evening at the Rudraksha Convention Centre in Varanasi.

Thani Al Zeyoudi, UAE Minister for Foreign Trade, has been elected as the chair of the 13th Ministerial Conference of the World Trade Organisation held to take place in Abu Dhabi.
The announcement was made during a meeting with WTO director-general Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala at the WTO General Council in Geneva.
The conference will be attended by representatives from 164 countries.

Ravindra Banshtu has been appointed as the coach of the Indian national women’s volleyball team for the 19th Asian Women’s Championship.

Shri Sanjay Chander, Director General of Railway Protection Force (RPF), unveiled the recently constructed National Martyr’s Memorial and National Museum for Railway Security at Jagjivan RPF Academy, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.

This martyr’s memorial is spread over an area of 4800 square meters and on this memorial, the names of 1014 martyred RPF personnel from 1957 till date have been inscribed and tribute has been paid to them on behalf of the RPF.
The museum offers visitors a comprehensive insight into the history, origin, accomplishments, duties, and responsibilities of the Railway Protection Force.
