This plant will be constructed on 1200 acres of land at Pudimadaka in Achyutapuram mandal in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh.
Under this, the target is to produce 1,200 tonnes of green hydrogen every day.
NTPC is India’s largest Power Utility in the core business of power generation, with a total installed capacity of 74 GW (including joint ventures and subsidiaries).
As part of increasing its renewable energy portfolio, a fully owned subsidiary “NTPC Green Energy Limited” (NGEL) has been formed.
