Lalduhoma has taken oath as the sixth Chief Minister of the state.
The formalization of Mizoram State took place on 20th February, 1987 after the 53rd Amendment of the Indian Constitution, 1986.
Mizoram was granted the status of a Union Territory in 1972.
The Union Territory of Mizoram was conferred the status of a full state in 1986.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the two-day Uttarakhand Global Investors Summit at the Forest Research Institute, FRI, in Dehradun.
The main objective of this summit is to establish Uttarakhand as a new center of investment.
On this occasion, the PM also launched the House of Himalaya brand of women self-help groups of the state.
The 2-day long Investors Summit will be a platform for business delegations, corporate leaders etc to collectively explore business opportunities and partnerships in the state of Uttarakhand.

RBI Governor Shaktikanta Das has announced the monetary policy.
For the fifth consecutive time, RBI has kept the repo rate at 6.50% without making any changes.
Along with this, Governor Shaktikanta Das has also released the GDP growth estimate which has been increased from 6.5 percent to 7 percent.
The Monetary Policy Committee is chaired by the RBI Governor.
The primary objective of monetary policy is to maintain price stability while keeping in mind the objective of growth.
Price stability is a necessary precondition to sustainable growth.
RBI Act, 1934 was amended in May 2016 to provide a statutory basis for the implementation of the flexible inflation-targeting framework.

The chief architect of the Indian Constitution, Dr BR Ambedkar’s statue was unveiled at the Jaipur Wax Museum, Nahargarh Fort.
The height of this wax statue is 5 feet 11 inches and weight is 38 kilograms. This museum was established in 2016 with the cooperation of the Department of Archeology and Museums of the Government of Rajasthan.
Madame Tussauds is a wax museum founded in 1835 (188 years ago) by French wax sculptor Marie Tussaud in London.
