- Stenographer Grade ‘C’: Graduation, 120 W.P.M. in shorthand, 40 W.P.M. in typing (English) or 100 W.P.M. in shorthand, 35 W.P.M. in typing (Hindi), with a Diploma in Computer Applications.
- Stenographer Grade ‘D’: Graduation, 80 W.P.M. in shorthand, 40 W.P.M. in typing (English), with a Diploma in Computer Applications.
- MTS: 10th class pass from a recognized board.
