Mumbai Port Authority Recruitment 2024: Mumbai Port Authority Sports Club has announced a recruitment notice for various posts, including Welfare Officer/Senior Welfare Officer/Pilot/Asstt. Mumbai Port Authority Detailed Eligibility

Education Qualification:

• Welfare Officer:
  • Degree from a recognised University/ Institution.
  • Degree or diploma in Social Science from a recognised University/ Institution.
  • Knowledge of Marathi.
  • Desirable: 2 years experience as a Labour Welfare Officer/Industrial Relations Officer in an Industrial/Commercial/Govt. Undertaking.
• Senior Welfare Officer:
  • Degree from a recognised University/ Institution.
  • Degree or diploma in Social Science from a recognised University/ Institution.
  • 5 years’ experience as a Labour Welfare Officer/Industrial Relations Officer in an Industrial/Commercial/Govt. Undertaking.
  • Knowledge of Marathi.

Specialized Degrees/Diplomas in Social Science will include qualifications like:

• Diploma in Labour Welfare
• Diploma for Labour Welfare Workers
• Diploma in Social Services Administration with Industrial Relation and Personnel Management
• Master of Arts in Social Work
• Master of Labour Welfare
• And other related qualifications.

Age Limit (As on 01 November 2024):

• Welfare Officer: 21 – 30 years
• Senior Welfare Officer: 21 – 35 years
• Dy. Manager (Welfare): 21 – 40 years

Age Relaxation:

• Persons With Benchmark Disability: 10 years
• Ex-servicemen: Upto the extent of service rendered in the Defence Forces.
• Existing Employees of the Board of any Major Port Authority: Upto 55 years of age.

Mumbai Port Authority Salary Details:

• Welfare Officer/Senior Welfare Officer: Rs. 50,000/- in the scale of Rs. 50,000-1,60,000 and other admissible allowances. Total emoluments will be approximately Rs. 89,500/- per month, plus HRA if not residing in Mumbai Port Authority quarters.

Mumbai Port Authority Selection Process 

The selection process consists of:

• Online Examination: Objective-type questions covering technical subjects, reasoning, general awareness, Marathi language, and English language.
• Interview: Candidates who clear the online exam will be called for an interview.

Cut-off Scores:

• Minimum 35% in each section and 35% overall to be considered for shortlisting.

Mumbai Port Authority Application Fees:

• PwBD candidates: Rs. 250/- (Intimation Charges Only) + GST @18%
• All other candidates: Rs. 750/- (Application fee including intimation charges) + GST @18%

Payment Mode: Debit Cards, Credit Cards, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards/Mobile Wallets.

Exam Center: Mumbai, Greater Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Thane, Palghar

Mumbai Port Authority How to Apply 

Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria and have the required qualifications can apply online through the link available on the Mumbai Port Authority (MbPA) website under the ‘People & Career/Jobs’ menu.
