RRC NWR Recruitment 2024 Eligibility Criteria

• Age Limit:
  • Minimum Age: 15 years
  • Maximum Age: 24 years (as on 10.12.2024)
  • Relaxation:
    • SC/ST: 5 years
    • OBC: 3 years
    • PwBD: 10 years
    • Ex-servicemen: Up to 10 years (as per service rendered)
• Educational Qualification:
  • Must have passed the 10th class examination or its equivalent (under the 10+2 system) with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks (no rounding off).
  • Should possess a National Trade Certificate in the notified trade, issued by NCVT/SCVT.

RRC NWR Recruitment 2024 Selection Process 

• Merit List: Based on the percentage of marks in Matriculation (with a minimum 50% aggregate) and ITI marks in the respective trade.
• Calculation of Percentage: Marks obtained in all subjects of Matriculation and ITI will be considered.
• Tie-Breaker: In case of a tie, preference will be given to the older candidate. If the dates of birth are the same, the candidate who passed Matriculation earlier will be considered first.
• Final Merit List: Prepared Division/unit-wise, trade-wise, and community-wise based on descending order of marks.
• Verification: Enlisted candidates will undergo document verification and must provide a medical certificate as per the prescribed format.

RRC NWR Recruitment 2024 Salary

• Training Period & Stipend: As per Railway Board rules.
• Accommodation: No hostel is provided; candidates must arrange their accommodation.
• Agreement: A Contract of Apprenticeship must be signed before training starts.

  • Fee: ₹100/- (Non-refundable)
• For SC/ST, PwBD, and Women candidates:

  Candidates must apply online by visiting www.rrcjaipur.in.
• Fill Personal Details:
  Candidates should carefully fill in their personal details/Bio-data as required on the website.
• Aadhaar Card:
  • Candidates must have an Aadhaar Card and provide the 12-digit Aadhaar number during registration.
  • They must produce the original Aadhaar card during document verification.
• Correct Details:
  • Ensure that the name, father’s name, and date of birth match exactly as recorded in the Matriculation or equivalent certificate.
  • Any mismatch found during document verification will lead to the cancellation of the candidature.
• Contact Information:
  • Candidates should provide an active mobile number and email address in the application and keep them active during the entire recruitment process as all important notifications will be sent via SMS or email.
• Apply for One Unit:
  Candidates must apply for only one unit. Multiple applications will lead to rejection.
• One Application Only:
  • Any candidate attempting to submit more than one application with varying details (e.g., Name, Father’s name, photo, educational qualifications, etc.) will have all applications summarily rejected.
• Print Application:
  Candidates should keep a printout of the completed online application. If shortlisted, they will need to present the printout during the Document Verification process.
