CSIR CECRI Recruitment 2024 Selection Process

The selection process for the candidates will be as follows:

1. Screening Committee Shortlisting: Candidates will first be shortlisted by a duly constituted Screening Committee based on their qualifications and other criteria.
2. Skill/Trade Test: Shortlisted candidates will be called for a Skill/Trade test. This is a hands-on or practical test that evaluates the candidates’ abilities relevant to the technical or trade-related positions.
3. Competitive Written Examination: Candidates who successfully qualify in the Skill/Trade test will be eligible for a competitive written examination, consisting of:
   • Paper I: Mental Ability Test – This paper will assess candidates’ logical reasoning, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
   • Paper II: General Awareness & English Language – This paper will evaluate the candidates’ general knowledge, awareness of current affairs, and proficiency in the English language.
   • Paper III: Concerned Subject – This paper will focus on the subject or field related to the candidate’s applied position (e.g., technical knowledge, subject expertise).
4. Final Merit List: The final merit list will be determined based on the candidates’ performance in Paper II and Paper III, which will carry more weight in the final selection process.

1. Technical Assistant (Level-6)
   • Pay Scale: ₹35,400 – ₹1,12,400
   • Total Approximate Salary: ₹56,640/-
2. Technician (1) (Level-2)
   • Pay Scale: ₹19,900 – ₹63,200
   • Total Approximate Salary: ₹31,840/-

Exemption from Application Fee:

Candidates belonging to the following categories are exempted from paying the application fee:

• Ex-Servicemen

Important Instructions:

1. Transaction Number: After successful payment, the transaction number will be generated. This number must be mentioned in the online application.
2. Download E-receipt: Candidates are advised to download the E-receipt containing the transaction number, transaction date, etc., for future reference.
3. No Refund: The fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances, nor can it be held in reserve for any future recruitment or selection process.

Eligible candidates are required to apply ONLINE only through the CSIR-CECRI website. The ONLINE APPLICATION link will be available from 23.10.2024 (09:00 AM) to 06.12.2024 (05:30 PM). After this period, the application link will automatically be disabled. Candidates are advised to submit their online application well in advance and not wait until the last date/time. CSIR-CECRI will not be responsible for any non-submission of the application form or payment of application fees due to any reason.

1. Registration:
   • Candidates must register using a valid Email Address by clicking on the “New Registration” button located on the left side panel of the website.
2. Login:
   • After successful registration, candidates can log in to the Recruitment portal using their Registration ID and Password to fill out the online application form.
3. Importance of Registration ID and Password:
   • The Registration ID and Password are crucial as they will be required to access and complete the Online Application Form. Make sure to keep them safe.
4. For Multiple Posts:
   • If candidates wish to apply for more than one post, they must register separately for each post and submit individual applications for each position.
