NICL Recruitment 2024 Eligibility Criteria

1. Nationality:
   • Indian citizen, or
   • The subject of Nepal/Bhutan, or
   • Tibetan refugee (settled in India before 1st Jan 1962), or
   • A person of Indian origin migrated from specified countries.
2. Age (as of 01.10.2024):
   • Minimum: 21 years, Maximum: 30 years (Born between 02.10.1994 and 01.10.2003).
   • Relaxations:
     • SC/ST: 5 years
     • OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years
     • PwBD: 10 years
     • Ex-Servicemen: Service period + 3 years (max 45 years)
     • Widows/Divorced Women: Up to 35 (General/EWS), 38 (OBC), 40 (SC/ST)
     • Existing Employees: 5 years
3. Educational Qualification (as of 01.10.2024):
   • Graduation from a recognized university.
   • Proficiency in Reading, Writing, and Speaking the regional language of the state/UT applied for.

• Scale of Pay: Rs. 22,405 to Rs. 62,265 with increments.

NICL Recruitment 2024 Probation Period

• Duration: Minimum of 6 months.
• Performance Evaluation: Employees will be assessed before the end of the probation. Those not meeting expectations may have their probation extended.

  • Resigning employees must repay the salary received during service and an additional Rs. 25,000 for training costs.
  • No lien/bond from current employers will be binding, and no leave, salary, or pension contributions will be provided.
