     • Corresponding GATE paper: Electronics & Communication Engineering (GATE Paper Code: EC).
     • Note: Must possess a valid GATE score card (GATE-2022, 2023, or 2024) in Paper Code – EC as of the closing date of online application/registration.
   • Computer Science:
     • Essential Qualification: First-class Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology in Computer Science / Computer Science & Information Technology / Information Engineering / Information Technology or any other relevant field.
     • Corresponding GATE paper: Computer Science and Information Technology (GATE Paper Code: CS).
     • Note: Must possess a valid GATE score card (GATE-2022, 2023, or 2024) in Paper Code – CS as of the closing date of online application/registration.
   • Geo-Informatics and Remote Sensing:
     • Essential Qualification: First-class Master’s degree in Geo-Informatics/Remote Sensing or a first-class Bachelor’s degree in relevant Engineering fields.
     • Corresponding GATE paper: Geomatics Engineering (GATE Paper Code: GE).
     • Note: Must possess a valid GATE score card (GATE-2022, 2023, or 2024) in Paper Code – GE as of the closing date of online application/registration.
   • Mathematics:

Selection Procedures for NTRO Recruitment 2024

1. Shortlisting:
   • Eligible candidates will be shortlisted based on their valid GATE Score in the respective subject/field.
   • The shortlisting ratio will be 1:25 (i.e., 25 candidates for every vacancy), contingent on having a sufficient number of eligible registered candidates.
2. Stage-I (Written Examination):
   • Shortlisted candidates will take a written examination.
   • Minimum qualifying marks are 50% for Unreserved candidates and 40% for Reserved candidates.
3. Stage II (Interview):
   • Candidates shortlisted from the written exam will be called for an interview in a 1:4 ratio (number of vacancies: number of candidates).
   • Minimum qualifying marks for the interview are 50% for Unreserved candidates and 40% for Reserved candidates.
4. Final Selection Criteria:
   • The final selection will be based on:
     • GATE Score (50% weightage)
     • Marks in Stage-I (Written Exam) (30% weightage)
     • Marks in Stage II (Interview) (20% weightage)
5. Medical Fitness:
   • Candidates must meet medical standards as certified by the Medical Board.
   • ‘Color Vision Deficiency’ is considered a disqualifying factor.
