NPCIL Recruitment 2024 Selection Process
The NPCIL Stipendiary Trainee selection process includes a two-stage written examination.
- Preliminary Test: This 1-hour exam has 50 multiple-choice questions on Mathematics, Science , and General Awareness. Minimum passing marks are 40% for General candidates and 30% for reserved categories.
- Advanced Test: This 2-hour exam features 50 multiple-choice questions related to the specific trade. Candidates need at least 30% in General and 20% in reserved categories to qualify.
For Category-II Stipendiary Trainee (Operator), no skill test is needed. Qualified candidates will be called for Physical Standard Test/Document Verification, with three times the number of vacancies being shortlisted.
NPCIL Recruitment 2024 Salary
Category-II Stipendiary Trainee (ST/TN) – Operator:
- 1st Year: ₹20,000 per month
- 2nd Year: ₹22,000 per month
- Book Allowance (one-time grant): ₹3,000
