HVF Recruitment 2024 Eligibility Criteria
Minimum Educational Qualifications:
- Category I – Graduate Apprentices:
- Degree in Engineering or Technology (Full-time) from a Statutory University in a relevant discipline.
- Degree in Engineering or Technology (Full-time) from an Institution empowered to grant such a degree by an Act of Parliament in a relevant discipline.
- Graduate examination of Professional bodies recognized by the State Government or Central Government as equivalent.
- Category II – Technician (Diploma) Apprentices:
- Diploma in Engineering or Technology (Full-time) from a State Council or Board of Technical Education established by a State Government in a relevant discipline.
- Diploma in Engineering or Technology (Full-time) from a University in a relevant discipline.
- Diploma in Engineering and Technology from an Institution recognized by the State Government or Central Government as equivalent.
- Category III – Non-Engineering Graduate Apprentices:
- Degree in Arts / Science / Commerce / Humanities such as BA / B.Sc. / B.Com / BBA / BBM / BCA etc. (Regular – Full time) from a Statutory University / Deemed University in relevant discipline. Must be UGC approved.
Age:
- Age limit as per Apprenticeship Rules.
Minimum Physical Standards:
- As prescribed in Clause 4 of the Apprenticeship Rule 1992, and amendments if any.
Previous Training/Experience:
- Candidates who have already undergone or are currently undergoing apprenticeship under Apprenticeship (Amendment) Act 1973, and/or have one year or more experience are NOT ELIGIBLE to apply.

- The Apprenticeship training period is one year, by the Apprenticeship (Amendment) Act 1973.
HVF Recruitment 2024 Selection Process
- Responsibility: The board of Apprenticeship Training (SR) is entrusted with preparing a shortlist from online applications.
- Shortlisting Criteria: Candidates are shortlisted based on the percentage of marks obtained in the basic prescribed qualification relevant to their discipline.
- Notification: Shortlisted candidates will be informed via their registered email IDs.
- Certificate Verification: Shortlisted candidates must attend Certificate Verification at Heavy Vehicles Factory, Avadi, Chennai

- Click “Student Login.”
- Click “Forgot Password” and reset it using your registered email.
- Login with new credentials.
