North Eastern Railway Recruitment 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Here are the essential qualifications and age criteria for applying to the North Eastern Railway (NER) apprenticeship training:

1. Qualifications:
   • The candidate should have passed High School/10th with a minimum of 50% marks.
   • Must have completed ITI in the notified trade on or before 12 June 2024.
2. Physical Standard:
   • Selected candidates must submit a Medical Certificate in the prescribed format issued by an authorized Medical Officer. Eligibility for Divyang candidates (persons with disabilities) will be as per Railway Board guidelines.
3. Age Limit:
   • Minimum age: 15 years
   • Maximum age: 24 years as of 12 June 2024.
   • Age relaxation:
     • 5 years for SC/ST candidates.
     • 3 years for OBC candidates.
     • Maximum 10 years for Divyang candidates (persons with disabilities).

Candidates for North Eastern Railway apprenticeship training will be chosen from a merit list based on their Matriculation and ITI exam scores, which will be weighted equally.
