PNB Recruitment 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Education Qualification

• Required: Graduate degree from a recognized institution by 30.06.2024.
• Must provide mark sheets and degree certificates.
• Proficiency in the local language of the State/UT.
• Candidates must be medically fit as per PNB’s standards.

Age Limit

For PNB Apprentice Recruitment 2024:

• Minimum age: 20 years
• Maximum age: 28 years (as of 30.06.2024)
• Age relaxation:
  • SC/ST: 5 years
  • OBC: 3 years
  • PwBD: 10 years
  • Widows, divorced women, and women legally separated from their husbands:
    • Up to 35 years (General/EWS)
    • Up to 38 years (OBC)
    • Up to 40 years (SC/ST)

Nationality

To be eligible for the PNB Apprentice Recruitment 2024 based on nationality or citizenship, candidates must meet one of the following criteria:

1. Citizen of India
2. Subject of Nepal
3. Subject of Bhutan
4. Person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam to settle in India permanently.

For candidates falling under categories (ii), (iii), and (iv), it is mandatory to possess a certificate of eligibility issued by the Government of India. This ensures that they meet the specified criteria for permanent settlement in India.

PNB Recruitment 2024 Duration of Training

• The total duration of training will be one year from the date of the contract.
• This includes 2 weeks of Basic Training and 50 weeks of On-the-Job Training.

PNB Recruitment 2024 Selection Process

The selection process for PNB Apprentice Recruitment 2024 includes the following:

1. Online Written Test: Candidates will undergo an online examination.
2. Test of Local Language: Proficiency in the local language of the State/UT where applying will be assessed (reading, writing, speaking, and understanding).
3. Medical Examination: Candidates must pass a medical fitness exam as per the bank’s requirements.

The final selection is based on qualifying in the written test, proficiency in the local language, passing the medical examination, and verifying eligibility criteria and information provided in the online application.

PNB Recruitment 2024 Stipend

• Apprentices will receive the following stipend per month during the one-year contract period:
  • Rural/Semi-Urban Branches: Rs. 10,000
  • Urban Branches: Rs. 12,000
  • Metro Branches: Rs. 15,000
• Apprentices are not eligible for any other allowances or benefits.

PNB Recruitment 2024 Application Fee

Candidates must make the payment of fees/intimation charges online only, between 30.06.2024 and 14.07.2024. No other mode of payment will be accepted. The fee structure is as follows:

• PwBD: Rs. 400/- + GST @18% = Rs. 472/-
• Female/SC/ST: Rs. 600/- + GST @18% = Rs. 708/-
• GEN/OBC: Rs. 800/- + GST @18% = Rs. 944/-

• The fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.
• It cannot be reserved for any other examination or selection process.

PNB Recruitment 2024 – Application Process

• Visit PNB’s official website or https://www.pnbindia.in/Recruitments.aspx for an application.
• Register on www.bfsissc.com for apprenticeship tests and pay fees online.
• Complete profiles on NAPS (www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in) and NATS (www.nats.education.gov.in) portals.
• Prepare an Aadhaar card, email ID, mobile number, passport photo (JPEG, <1 MB), and degree certificate (PDF, <1 MB).
• Await email from BFSI SSC for NAPS/NATS codes.
• Provide personal details, category, and scribe name (for PwBD).
• Keep active email and mobile for notifications till the result declaration.
