IBPS Recruitment 2024 Eligibility Criteria
Education Qualification
Educational Requirements: A degree (graduation) in any discipline from a university recognized by the Government of India, or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government. Candidates must have a valid mark sheet/degree certificate that shows their graduation status and percentage of marks earned.
Computer Literacy: Candidates must have operating and functioning knowledge of computer systems, which can be proven by obtaining a Certificate/Diploma/Degree in computer operations/Language or studying computer/information technology as a subject in high school/college/institute.
Language Proficiency: The candidate should be fluent in the official language of the state/UT for which they are applying (reading, writing, and speaking).
Age Limit
- Age Criteria: 20-28 years (born between 02.07.1996 and 01.07.2004).
- Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC-NCL: 3 years
- PwD: 10 years
- ESM/DESM: Service period + 3 years (up to 8 years for SC/ST), max age 50 years
- Widows/divorced women: Up to 35 years (General/EWS), 38 years (OBC), 40 years (SC/ST)
- 1984 riot victims: 5 years
Nationality
- Must be a Citizen of India, or
- The subject of Nepal, or
- The subject of Bhutan, or
- Tibetan Refugee who came to India before 1st January 1962 to settle permanently, or
- Person of Indian origin who migrated from specified countries to settle permanently in India.
Candidates from categories (ii), (iii), (iv), and (v) must possess a certificate of eligibility issued by the Government of India.
