SGPGI Recruitment 2024 Education Qualification

Essential Qualification and Experience for the Stenographer position are as follows:

1. Graduation from a recognized university.
2. Stenography speed of 80 words per minute in Hindi OR English.
3. Typing speed of 25 words per minute in Hindi OR 30 words per minute in English, on a computer/desktop.
4. Proficiency in computer applications.
5. Upon appointment, candidates must learn bilingual typing in both Hindi and English with a speed of 25/30 words per minute in Hindi and English, respectively. This is mandatory and must be accomplished within the probation period of 2 years. Candidates will be tested by the concerned Establishment through a skill test. Failure to clear the test during the probation period will result in termination of services.

SGPGI Recruitment 2024 Age Limit

The decisive date for age calculation for recruitment to all the mentioned posts is January 1, 2024. For advertisements released between January 1 to June 30, the decisive date is January 1, and for advertisements released between July 1 to December 31, the decisive date is July 1. As of January 1, 2024, candidates must be at least 18 years old and should not exceed 40 years of age.

SGPGI Recruitment 2024 Selection Process

1. Selection is based on Common Recruitment Test (CRT) marks only.
   • Computer-Based Tests held in major cities are listed in the online application form.
   • Candidates choose three preferred test cities, unchangeable after form submission.
   • SGPGIMS reserves the right to allocate or change test cities.
2. SGPGIMS may cancel or add Examination City/Centre as needed.
   • Decisions are based on response, administrative feasibility, or force majeure conditions.
3. Medium of computer-based test/exam: English language only.

SGPGI Recruitment 2024 Salary

Stenographers at SGPGIMS will receive a salary based on the 7th CPC Level 4 pay scale, with a Basic Pay ranging from Rs. 25,500 to Rs. 81,100 along with a Grade Pay of Rs. 2,400.

SGPGI Recruitment 2024 Application Fee

• The application fees are non-refundable under any circumstances, with the following amounts:
  • UR: Rs. 1000 + Rs. 180 (GST @18%) = Rs. 1180
  • OBC/EWS: Rs. 1000 + Rs. 180 (GST @18%) = Rs. 1180
  • SC/ST: Rs. 600 + Rs. 108 (GST @18%) = Rs. 708
• Candidates belonging to other categories (Horizontal) must pay fees according to their original category.
• Separate application and fee submission are required for each post applied for, in the case of applying for multiple posts.
