About NIC

National Informatics Centre (NIC) under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology is the technology partner of the Government of India. It was established in 1976 with the objective to provide technology-driven solutions to Central and State Governments in various aspects of development. it has been instrumental in adopting and providing Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and eGovernance support to Central Government.

Age Limit:

• Maximum age 30 years

Selection Process:

• Selection will be done through a written examination and interview for Scientist „B‟ and Scientific Officer / Engineer-SB Posts and only through a written examination for Scientific/Technical Assistant – „A‟ Post.

The applicants shall pay the Application Fee (non-refundable) at the rates indicated in the
